Marie Antoinette Style Shoes

I made these shoes a year ago. They are inspired by Marie Antoinette and started out life as a pair of heeled sandals that I found in a charity shop.
I took off the straps and added new insoles out of blue silk (the bird cage is hand painted on with acrylic paint) then embroidered gold thread into pink silk with wadding underneath. I then created a pink ribbon bow, a suffolk puff and a lace flower to put on the top of each shoe
